Syllabus -- Please read!

All students are required to use D2L.  Please enter the discussion board and participate in discussion.  The initial assignment to discuss "surprises" should get things started.  I would like this to be a starting point, where people will respond to each other's posts and actually, well, DISCUSS.  Assignment problems can be discussed too, I just hope you will refrain from posting actual answers.

Videos will stream if you click on them, otherwise you can right click and download them, which will give better control over playback.  The old videos are down below, you can watch them if you like.  However, we have a new book and things will go in a slightly different order.  Notes that are posted in advance of lectures may change based on what actually occurs in the class.
